All visitors must obtain a visa before travelling to Bhutan, except for nationals of India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives. Separate processes and fees apply for these countries.
As part of the visa application, visitors are required to pay a US$100 per day SDF (per adult). Concessionary rates are available for children. For more information, please contact us.
A non-refundable, one-off fee of US$40 is required when applying for a visa.

A correctly submitted application takes up to five working days.

Yes, extensions are allowed if requested before the visa expires.
SDF is refundable for canceled trips, minus any bank charges. Refund requests must be submitted to the Department of Immigration, and your agent can assist with the process.
